Since 2006, I've been working with people to understand their stories. From hopes, dreams and successes to fears and losses, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about all of our human experiences. My practice focuses on connection, nurturing self compassion and insight, and taking action to move into the life you want to live.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology, a Master's degree in Counselling and, most recently, I've gone through additional training to specialize in perinatal mental health. I have two children of my own and it was my experiences of motherhood, including a difficult postpartum journey, that led me to specialize in this area.
Some areas of focus include:
Stress, depression and anxiety
Relationships and intimacy
Changing old, unhelpful patterns
Processing birth trauma
Creativity and self actualization
Grief and loss
“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.”
